Recommended Reader Age: Pre-K to Grade 2
Written in simple, engaging rhyme, this story takes an inspirational look into how the little things in life a smile, a kind word, a simple deed can help change the world in a big way. Through 18 stunning illustrations, children will read about eating right, cleaning up the Earth by recycling and conserving, helping the sick and those less fortunate, and working in a group to make bigger miracles. Even an ordinary kid can be a superhero before bedtime! Grades Pre-K to 2.
**I was given this book by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**
This book has everything small children like and everything parents want! The message given in this book is one that we all want our children to have and pay close attention to. How to help make the world a better place.
This book gives children the message that with little things they do daily they can help change the world for the better. From recycling and eating healthy to helping the sick and elderly, this book encourages the best from children. While painting them as superhero's for helping make the world a better place.
There is a fun rhyming rhythm, the illustrations are bright and the pages are busy.
This book would be a great addition to your bookshelf at home, and would be perfect for elementary school teachers while doing their lessons on saving the earth during earth week or a good reminder if they notice a litterbug hanging around.
At the end of the book there is a page for your child to create their own idea for how they can change the world before bedtime....another great idea for teachers after they read the story.
All in all - a book that I highly recommend to all parents and teachers of young children. We need to get the message out somehow...and this is a fun, sure-fire way to make sure they get it!
