Years ago I participated in a book meme called 'Random Reads'. I LOVED it. I had, and still have, an atrociously long list of books to read on Goodreads. What ends up happening is that a lot of the books that I have added over the years keep getting buried under the books that I keep adding that are more new and upcoming.
I KNOW that I have some diamonds hiding in my list of books to read.
Since I haven't participated in this for so long, I don't even know if it is being run by anyone. If any of you are aware of someone running this, please let me know!
On that note, Random.org has chosen this as my next read for March!
Yes.... I have 1,099 book titles on my To Read list... I know... ridiculous.
So.... what is 'Forty Days'? NOOOO recollection of this book at all. Looking at the synopsis more closely, it is story about the great flood and Noah's arc. I enjoy biblical type stories, so I am looking forward to reading this. I was also warned that this is one of two parts, and this installment will have a cliffhanger...which normally I DO NOT appreciate. But we will see how it goes. I also seem to have acquired it through Amazon through a free promotion, so YAY, I have a copy already!

So is this something that you guys do when you have a really long list of books to read? Do you sometimes just random.org it too? Or do you have other strategies to get back to those books waiting for you to pick them up? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
