When Juliet Northman accepts a job as an exotic dancer at a local club, she believes that all her money problems are solved. But, Juliet soon discovers that money isn't everything and there are limitations to what she is willing to do to obtain it.

As she struggles to perform at her new job, Juliet encounters an unusual man named Damon Vale. She has dreamt of Damon almost every night for months before ever meeting him. Damon is truly the man of her dreams, but there is more to him than meets the eye, for Damon is a vampire. Juliet's life is turned upside down as her passion for Damon leads her down a dark path, one she must take to follow her heart.

Lily's Rating: didn't like it it was ok liked it (my current rating) really liked it it was amazing

Really short paranormal romance,  which was written well enough to be enjoyed. Didn't blow me out of the water, but was very entertaining for it's short length. Unfortunately, with a story so short it's a really big challenge to build enough character development to really engage me. I found that somewhat lacking, and constantly had this feeling like I was missing so much potential storyline it made me want to scream. These characters need more page time. They were great, and the plot itself could be greatly expanded on.

The relationship between Damon and Juliet was established way too quickly (though understandable in this short format) and her acceptance into her situation too unbelievable due to the same issue. I would suggest undertaking a true novella size, as I would consider this a short story, to be able to really dive in and enjoy the full potential of the story between Damon & Juliet.

Holy crap was this ever short! I was done in 15 minutes including distractions. But no less enjoyable. And what a beautiful eye catching cover, even for such a short little tale!

Felt like a little fairytale with a nice feel good moral to the story. Pleasant read for children, and adults alike. I commend the author for building the characters up so well in such minimal length. He had me fairly intrigued, even though the ending felt a little rushed for my taste. But I very much enjoyed his style of writing.

In this humorous and insightful tale, a modern day princess finds herself single and asking for magical intervention to change her sorry love life. Rather than casting a spell to bring Prince Charming to her rescue, a savvy fairy godmother gives the tenderhearted damsel an unexpected gift. By entrusting her true thoughts and desires to an unlikely confidant, the young royal soon discovers that the person who could make her life everything she dreamed it would be has been with her all along.

Ha! Who needs a Prince anyway? Well, this Princess did. Or thought she did. But was so disappointed, Prince after Prince after Prince.

A short, heartwarming tale that had me smiling from beginning to end. Hey, ladies. Ya, you. We have all been there. Looking for our Prince Charming, thinking we have found him, until we realize... oh crap... you are Prince Assh&le, not Charming!  Feeling our hearts shrivel up a little, maybe a tear up, or a full blown cry or two, or dozen... eating ice cream in our most comfortable and hideous outfit, hair up in messy buns, lamenting our misfortunes.

Ya, you know what I am talking about.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and not necessarily that elusive Prince Charming! I love the message of this story and I can honestly say that I know a few Princesses in my life that should read it!
