I'm playing catch up with Kiddie Korner because we moved and between moving and dealing with my teething tiny bookluvr...lets just say life was a little on the hectic side. Bus alas, another awesome children's book this month. Today we look at 'PEEPO!'
- Age Range: Babies to Toddlers
- Publisher: Penguin UK (June 1999)
Here's a little baby 1,2,3...
"Here's a little baby 1,2,3. Sits in his high chair. What does he see?"
What an awesome book!! This is one of my sons favourites. Every time I take it out to read his arms start flailing and he screeches with delight!
What I really like about this book is that you can get it in both board book and hard/soft cover. Many children's books are not done in board books for the wee little ones.
The rhythm of the book speaks to the wee little babies, and there is a lot to look at.
I can see how this would be awesome for the toddler too. A great way to teach your child about items we see every day. It has cut out holes where your little one can point out what they see before turning the page...and so much more to see once the page has been turned.
This is a book that must be on your child's bookshelf. One that they will ask you to read over and over again.
